Cheeky Beats bought her first set of decks whilst studying Televison and Radio at Salford University in 2005. A pair of citronics from cash generator, they laid gathering dust for a year until Cheeky invested in a pair of Technics 1210s in 2006. Cheeky was slow to master the art of beat matching but once she did there was no stopping her and in May 2008 she landed her first gig playing for Manchester based hard dance night, Gravity.

Since then she has gone on to land guest appearences at some of the best nights in the country and some of the best venues too, including B2T at Gatecrasher, Birmingham, Sundissential at The Custard Factory, Birmingham, Viarga at My House, Leeds, Killertrax @ Kerbcrawler, Leeds and Sinergy at Jabez Clegg, Manchester. Past residencies include Gravity, Xposed and Creascendo and Cheeky currently holds a residency with Killertrax.

Cheeky represented SO DJ on their 2009 Ibiza tour, playing at some of the busiest bars on the Island including Viva, The Orange Corner and Peppers 2. She is fast building a name for herself as one to watch, impressing promoters and clubbers alike with her energetic sets, tight mixing and ability to read the crowd.

Cheeky plays a variety of styles but her main love lies in house music and hard dance. She produces house music with Cat under the alias of The Dust Kittens and has a number of her own releases too.
