Antix at Unity Day 2008

A Drum & Bass DJ and producer from Leeds, ANTIX was driven with passion for DnB from around the age of 15. From this point on his production (previously hip-hop) changed to DnB and things progressed from there. Landing a slot on the north's number one DnB Station, Radio Frequency, ANTIX along with his partner in crime Mc Pean, worked their way through the ranks and advanced to a prime time slot: 7-9pm every Saturday. This opened up many doors and has since resulted in gigs at some of Leeds' major nights including SUBDUB, Exodus, TRANSMISSION, Valve, Metropolis, Jump and Roots to Future Music.

ANTIX also entered and came second in 'Drum&Bass Arena's' Kam Mix Challenge, a DJ compeition with over 250 entrants. ANTIX entered his mix and got through to the final four, who were all to travel to London (D&BA HQ) to compete on D&BTV with DJ's RANDALL and A SIDES judging the competition. ANTIX also came first in a Metropolis DJ competition and as a result played front room alongside DJ HYPE and LTJ BUKEM, and also came second in an 'Asylum and Technique' DJ competition.

At present you can find DJ ANTIX spending most of his free time in the studio working on beats trying to move things forward. Loads of new stuff soon to come, so make sure you keep checking his MySpace for updates!
